What we manage

Three parts, at every level

Google & social media ads

The channels your team already knows, run by people who know the Greek market. Account structure, budget allocation, creative and daily optimisation, adapted to local search behaviour and local competition.

Skroutz Growth

Greece's largest marketplace, managed end to end — ads, deals, price optimizer, FBS. This is the part your global agency cannot run, and in many categories it is where the purchase actually happens.

Strategic review with John Kiskipelis

Once a month, the conversation about the market rather than the campaigns: pricing against local competitors, product mix, delivery, what to change next. The time is specific and scheduled.

Levels

HEM I, II and III

The channels are the same across all three. What changes is the pace — how often we look at the account and how much strategic time you get.

What changes by level

HEM I
2× per week
½ hour per month with John Kiskipelis

For an entry that starts carefully, with a limited initial budget.

HEM II
3× per week
1 hour per month with John Kiskipelis

The pace that fits the first months of an entry, when several things change at once.

HEM III
Daily
2 hours per month with John Kiskipelis

For an aggressive entry, or a category with strong seasonality and competition.

A market entry usually needs the closest attention in its first months, then settles. The level can move with it.

Why hybrid, and not just Google and Meta

Because in Greece the three channels are not independent. What you price on Skroutz changes what your search ads should bid on. What you learn from marketplace demand tells you which products deserve creative. Run separately, they compete with each other for the same buyer — and you pay twice.

One team, three channels

The same people see search, social and marketplace data together, in one account. Nothing gets optimised in isolation and nothing gets blamed on the other agency.

The channel most agencies skip

UpCommerce was the first agency in Greece certified by Skroutz to manage third-party accounts. It is not an add-on here — it is the reason the model is called hybrid.

Fitone is this model running end to end. An international brand, no local warehouse, shipping cross-border — and 86% of the revenue came from the marketplace channel that a global agency would have left switched off.

Before you start

Most brands begin with the audit

The Greek Market Entry Audit answers the five questions that are cheap to fix now and expensive later — localization, compliance, pricing, payments and delivery, and the advertising landscape. It is not a requirement, but execution built on it starts from a better place.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Hybrid Entry Model?

It is monthly execution for international brands selling into Greece, across three channels managed together: Google and social media advertising, Skroutz, and a monthly strategic review with John Kiskipelis. It comes in three levels — HEM I, II and III.

What is the difference between HEM I, II and III?

The difference is the pace. On HEM I we monitor the account twice a week, on HEM II three times, on HEM III every day. The monthly strategic review is half an hour, one hour and two hours respectively. The channels are the same across all three.

Why is Skroutz part of the package rather than an option?

Because in Greece it is not a secondary channel. For many categories it is where the purchase decision is made, and it runs on its own advertising system, fulfilment network and ranking logic. Entering Greece with Google and social media alone means competing for the demand that is left over.

Can we keep our existing agency for Google and social media?

Yes. In that case what you need is Skroutz Growth as a standalone service, and we run only the marketplace. The hybrid model exists because the three channels influence each other — what you price on Skroutz affects what your search ads should bid on — but it is not a requirement.

How much time will we have with John Kiskipelis?

Half an hour, one hour or two hours per month, depending on the level. It is scheduled time for strategy. The day-to-day work is done by the team, through your dedicated account manager.

Do we have to start with the Market Entry Audit?

No. Most brands do, because it answers the questions that are expensive to get wrong. But the two services are independent and you can start with execution if the groundwork is already done.

Are we locked into a long contract?

No. Monthly basis, so the level can follow the shape of your entry. 85% of our clients stay because they want to.
