From in-store awareness to 20% of company revenue online
We started with Christou 1910 in 2018, and the brief had nothing to do with an e-shop: build awareness for the physical points of sale and open new ones. The e-shop came later — and then it grew into a fifth of the entire company.
How it went
Situation, work, result
The situation
A retail business with physical points of sale and no online channel. The first mandate was awareness for those stores and entry into new ones — not e-commerce.
What we did
Once the e-shop was built, we ran it as one channel among several rather than as a separate business: targeted advertising, influencer marketing, marketplaces, affiliate marketing and marketing automation.
The result
In under three years, online activity accounted for 20% of the company’s total annual revenue — without the physical points of sale losing ground.
The partnership has been running since 2018. This is the longest-running case study we publish.
The service behind it
Selling in stores and online at the same time?
The Growth Partner Program is the service behind this case study — built for businesses where online is one channel among several, not the only one.
